Construction started on the first 9 holes Championship course in the spring of 04'. The Greens and Tees were built to USGA specifications using Independence bent grass which is one of the best new varieties of bent grass available.

       The first 9 holes that will open at Apple Creek are just the beginning of what will come in the next few years.  When completed the course will be over 7400 yards from the black tees and will have 5 sets of tees to accommodate all levels of golfers.  Greens and Tees will all be Independence bent grass, and fairways will be a low cut blue-grass variety.
